Spark Clear Aligners

Spark Clear Aligner System

Damon Orthodontics Uses Spark Clear Aligners Another aligner we treat patients with is Spark Aligners. These are also a clear removable tray that provides tooth movement.

Aligners work by providing a small amount of tooth movement with each aligner tray. You will be given several trays (number depending on your customized treatment plan), and each tray will be worn for two weeks each.

Invisalign and Spark are both great ways to achieve a beautiful smile. Read below to learn more about Spark.

Why Spark Aligner Treatment?

Greater Start-To-Finish Control and Flexibility

Developed with clinical experts from around the world, Spark is an advanced clear aligner system designed for more predictable and efficient treatment planning. When contacting the same tooth, Spark aligners have 19% better contact surface area.

The Latest Innovations In Aligner Material

TruGENTM and TruGEN XRTM offer greater sustained force retention, and are designed for more efficient and effective tooth movement.

More Control & More Flexibility

Spark’s 3D ApproverTM software is designed to give doctors more control and flexibility for more efficient and predictable treatment planning. They are designed for more efficient and effective tooth movement.

Faster Treatment

With weekly aligner changes, you’re on your way to the smile you want even faster. Depending on your response to treatment, particularly in mature adults, we may consider longer periods between aligner changes.

Better Printing Resolution

Spark aligners are manufactured with 80% better printing resolution than other aligners.

Comfortable Fit

Aligners made from Spark material are comfortable, fit well, and are easy to put on and take off.

Virtually Invisible

Most people won’t even know you’re going through treatment, because clear aligners are virtually invisible!

Convenient

Clear aligner treatment is ideal for your busy schedule, since you only need to visit our office a few times per year.

The Clear Aligners Treatment Process

Your First Consultation

At your initial consultation, we will discuss your orthodontic needs and evaluate whether Clear Aligners treatment is right for you.

Your Custom Treatment Plan

We will use a digital scanning system to create fast, precise 3D digital images of your teeth. Then we will map out a precise treatment plan, including the exact movements of your teeth and how long your treatment will be. You’ll even get to see how your teeth will move and preview your new smile.

Your Clear Aligners

Your custom-made aligners will be made of Spark Clear Aligner’s proprietary material. They’re virtually invisible, so most people won’t even notice you’re wearing them during your teeth straightening.

Wear your clear aligners 20 hours a day for the best results, and take them out only to eat, brush, and floss.

Your Progress

As you wear each set of aligners, your teeth will gently and gradually shift into place. We may recommend that you begin wearing a new set of aligners every week and we will monitor that progress remotely using the Dental Monitoring virtual software.

Taking Care Of Your New Smile

When your treatment is complete, ask us about our retainer. All our retainers are custom-made using the same state-of-the-art technology as clear aligners.

To learn more about clear aligners and all your orthodontic treatment options, please feel free to schedule an appointment at our office. We look forward to meeting you and helping you achieve a smile that’s made to move!

Frequently Asked Questions:

At your initial examination, Dr. Damon may recommend braces (clear or metal) or clear aligners based on your dental needs.

Ask the doctors if you want a time frame. We have provided adult treatment anywhere from 3 months to 24 months, however most not exceeding 18 months.

Brush your teeth by using a regular soft toothbrush. Brush down from the top and then up from the bottom on each tooth; always brushing away from your gums. Use a gentle sawing motion to work the floss on each side of the two teeth the floss is between. Be careful not to pull with too much force around the archwire.

The Damon System uses memory shape, heat activated wires that work without needing painful adjustments, decreasing the amount of office visits necessary to complete treatment. With Damon braces, the average time between visits can range from 8-10 weeks. As you come close to finishing treatment, Dr. Damon may want to see you more often, typically between 4-6 weeks during your last few months, to fine tune your final tooth movements.

Upon arriving, each patient and parent will be seen by the staff and doctor who will acclimate you to our office and prepare for the initial exam. We will take the necessary photographs and X-rays to allow us to make a proper diagnosis. The doctor will then complete a thorough examination for you or your child.

The investment of your treatment will vary depending on your specific dental requirements. Once we complete a new patient exam and create a treatment plan for you, you will meet with a treatment coordinator to discuss the costs and payment plans available to you. We will work with you to create a payment plan that is tailored to your needs and budget.
